MSSP Multi-Tenant Setup
Configure Basirah for managed security provider operations with isolated client tenants.
Basirah supports a parent-child tenant model for MSSPs. Each managed client gets a fully isolated tenant while the MSSP retains cross-tenant visibility and management.
Set up the parent organization
Your MSSP organization serves as the parent tenant. From here you can create and manage child tenants, configure shared defaults, and access cross-tenant reporting.
Create client tenants
Add a child tenant for each managed client. Each tenant is fully isolated — client users can only see their own findings, work items, and configurations. Data from one client is never visible to another.
Configure per-tenant integrations
Connect scanners and ticketing systems for each client tenant. Integrations are scoped to the tenant they’re configured in, so credentials and sync schedules are independent.
Set per-client SLA policies
Each tenant can have its own SLA policy with severity-based deadlines tailored to that client’s requirements and contractual obligations.
Assign analyst roles
Create user accounts for MSSP analysts who need access to specific client tenants. A single analyst account can hold different roles in different tenants — for example, Analyst in one client and Viewer in another.
Use cross-tenant reporting
Parent organization admins can query findings, work items, and risk data across all child tenants for portfolio-level visibility. Generate cross-tenant reports to track SLA compliance and risk trends across your managed client base.
